The Yellowstone is on the rise for the fifth day straight and has dirtied up pretty well overall.
Boulder River (Big Timber)
Flows are hanging in below normal, greened up but not bad. RL stoneflies, caddis larva, worm patterns and flashy stuff are keeping lines tight.
Flows are steady but both the clarity and the water temp are down this week with the lake turning. Nymph rigs consisting of RL stoneflies, crayfish and san juans trailed by flashy baetis nymphs.
Midges have been coming off in strong numbers again this week and the bwo's action remains excellent.
Yellowstone National Park is closed to fishing until the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We will update and provide a fishing report for the park once it opens for the seaon.
