The river in Livingston this morning is colored.
Boulder River (Big Timber)
Largely ice free except low in the valley. Fishing best with nymphs; dark brown and goldenstone RL nymphs, lightening bugs, flashback pheasant tails and cased caddis.
Fishing very well from Beartrap Canyon to Greycliff.
There are rainbows beginning to move in from the river. Midge larva and pupa, baetis nymphs, smaller buggers, micro- zonkers, scuds/sow bugs and caddis larva are all good bets to stay busy.
Yellowstone National Park is closed to fishing until the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We will update and provide a fishing report for the park once it opens for the seaon.
